Thank You For Your Service Captain David Callan
Captain David Callan is retiring this month, February 2014, after serving with the Canaveral Pilots Association for 29 years. Captain Callan began his service at Port Canaveral in 1985 and he’s held key leadership positions with the Pilots over the years, working closely with the Canaveral Port Authority in navigation channel improvements as ship traffic and size has increased. He has had a hand in training every Pilot currently serving at the Port, and was always enthusiastic in training and passing on piloting and ship-handling knowledge. The Canaveral Pilots Association thanks Captain Callan for his service and wishes him fair winds and following seas!
